GoCraftly's Biodegradable Case uses a blend of PLA, PBAT, and bamboo fibre and is designed for everyday phone protection. It comes in a single finish, has no built-in magnetic ring, supports compatible ordinary wireless charging, and is currently an iPhone-only option.
The name “Biodegradable Case” describes this product line, but the most useful buying information is the verified material and construction data. Rather than making broad environmental promises, this guide focuses on what the case is made from, how it differs from our other styles, and what to expect in daily use.
What the case is made from
The material blend is PLA + PBAT + bamboo fibre. It has a different feel and aging profile from flexible TPU or rigid polycarbonate cases. The material can have a mild natural odor when new, may change slightly in appearance as it ages, and is less elastic than a flexible TPU case.
Everyday protection
This is an everyday-use case rather than the same dual-layer construction used by Tough and Tough MagSafe. If your priority is the more protective polycarbonate-and-TPU build, compare it with the options in our Tough vs Clear case guide.
Good to know before you buy
- Single finish. There is no glossy-or-matte choice.
- No built-in magnetic ring. Choose a MagSafe case if magnetic accessories are part of your routine.
- Compatible ordinary wireless charging. It does not add MagSafe magnetic alignment.
- Currently iPhone only. Check the product page for the latest supported models.
- Material claims stay factual. We describe the verified PLA, PBAT, and bamboo fibre blend rather than promising a fixed decomposition time or a specific environmental outcome.
Care
