Care Tips
How to Clean and Care for Your Custom Phone Case
Take the case off the phone, wipe it with warm water and a little mild soap on a soft cloth, rinse, and air-dry fully before putting it back on. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive scrubbing, and high heat.
A custom case picks up the same daily grime as your phone — pockets, bags, hands, lunch. The good news: keeping it looking fresh takes a minute, and doing it gently protects the print for the long haul.
The simple routine
- Take the case off the phone first so moisture doesn't reach the ports.
- Use warm water and a drop of mild soap. A soft cloth or old toothbrush lifts grime from corners and edges.
- Rinse and air-dry fully before putting it back on — trapped moisture is the enemy.
Do & don't
| Do | Don't |
|---|---|
| Mild soap + warm water | Bleach, alcohol, or harsh solvents |
| Soft cloth or soft brush | Abrasive scrubbers or scouring pads |
| Air-dry at room temperature | Hair dryers or other high heat |
| A quick wipe now and then | Long soaking |
By case type
Tough & Tough MagSafe — the most hard-wearing; a gentle wash keeps the print and finish looking new. Clear cases — wipe regularly, since clear materials show grime and can pick up a tint over time with harsh cleaners. Biodegradable — clean gently with mild soap and water; avoid soaking and harsh chemicals. A matte finish hides fingerprints; a glossy finish wipes clean easily but shows smudges more.
Keeping the print vibrant
Everyday sunlight is fine, but like anything printed, long-term storage in harsh direct sun and heat is best avoided. Gentle cleaning is all a good case needs to stay looking sharp for years.
