Does Your Old Case Still Fit? An iPhone 14–17 Fit & MagSafe Guide
Cases are model-specific — the camera cutout won't line up between generations, so match the case to your exact iPhone. Tough fits iPhone 11–17; Tough MagSafe is iPhone 13+; Clear MagSafe is iPhone 14+; iPhone 11–12 use Tough or Biodegradable (no MagSafe).
Upgraded your iPhone and hoping your old case still fits? Sometimes it does — often it doesn't. Apple changes body dimensions and, more importantly, camera-bump layouts between generations, and even a millimetre off means your camera pokes past the cutout.
Why cases don't always carry over
The screen might look the same size, but the camera module is usually the dealbreaker. A case cut for the iPhone 15's cameras won't line up on a 16 or 17, even if the phone slides in. For a clean fit and proper protection, match the case to your exact model — and note that Plus, Pro, and Pro Max are different sizes too.

Each listed case supports compatible wireless charging. MagSafe styles add built-in magnetic alignment for compatible chargers and accessories. Charger compatibility can vary by device and setup; non-Apple chargers are not guaranteed for every Tough MagSafe setup.
How to check your exact model
Open Settings › General › About and look at Model Name. Choose that exact model on the product page or in Design Your Own — don't assume last year's case fits.
